BIO (4/22/2019):  Ida is looking for the perfect home that will provide her with tons of love and attention.  She came into rescue from a hoarding situation and was a shocking 35.5 pounds when she arrived.  After a very strict diet, she has lost a significant amount of weight and is down to 27 pounds.  We are continuing to work with her and will have her to the perfect weight in no time.

Ida loves to lie on the couch with you and snuggle in for a comfy evening watching television.  She really appreciates being able to lie in the sun outdoors or explore her yard to make sure no intruders have made it in.  She does have quite the ability to out snore just about anyone.  Scratch her belly and she will crack a smile on her face and just let you rub and rub until you can’t do it anymore.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
